Ms. Elissa O’Keefe is a Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner with a special interest in sexual and reproductive health. As well as working at the National Health Co-op she works at the Canberra Sexual Health Centre and has done so since 2001.

Her philosophy of health care is one of prevention where possible and to equip people and their families with the knowledge and resources that they need to live their best possible life.

She has published widely on sexual health and advanced nursing models and is recognised by her peers as a leader in the nursing profession. She is also the director of ‘The Right Medicine’ a consultancy business that provides clinical excellence solutions for professional associations and health care providers in a variety of settings. She is an invaluable member of the team at JUNIC Specialist Imaging and Women’s Center, Charnwood.
